Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Property Companion mobile application and related services provided by Zeitio ("we", "us"). By downloading, accessing or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old, and able to form a binding contract, to use Property Companion. By using the app you confirm that you meet these requirements.

3. Accounts

• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use of your account.

4. Licence to use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Property Companion for your personal, non-commercial property-evaluation purposes, subject to these Terms.

5. Subscriptions and billing

• Property Companion offers a free tier and paid subscription plans (such as Starter, Pro and Premium).
• Paid subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, according to their terms.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You manage and cancel subscriptions through your app-store account settings.
• Except where required by law or store policy, payments are non-refundable.

6. Not professional advice

Property Companion provides information tools — including AI-generated advice, market analysis, checklists and risk scores — to help you make your own decisions. This is not legal, financial, valuation, surveying or investment advice. Estimates and scores are informational and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Always verify with qualified professionals and official documents before making any property decision. You are solely responsible for your decisions.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose or to infringe others' rights.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the app or its systems.
• Upload content that is unlawful, misleading or that you do not have the right to share.
• Misuse the AI advisor to generate harmful, deceptive or infringing content.

8. Intellectual property

The app, its design, branding and content (excluding data you provide) are owned by Zeitio and protected by law. You retain ownership of the property data and content you add, and grant us a limited licence to process it solely to provide the app to you.

9. Termination

You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or misuse the app. On termination, your right to use the app ends and your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of estimates, analyses or scores, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zeitio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or any loss arising from property decisions you make, from your use of or inability to use the app.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
